Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Recruitment Administrator & Sales / Lead Generator to support both our recruitment and business development functions. This role combines recruitment administration with outbound sales activities, ensuring efficient recruitment processes while actively identifying and generating new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining recruitment databases, coordinating interviews, managing candidate documentation, sourcing new clients, generating qualified leads, and supporting the sales pipeline. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to engage with prospective clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Administration
  • Create and post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms.

  • Screen incoming applications and shortlist suitable candidates.

  • Schedule interviews between candidates and consultants or clients.

  • Conduct reference checks and verify candidate documentation.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Update candidate databases and ensure information remains current.

  • Prepare candidate profiles and supporting documentation for client submissions.

  • Manage interview confirmations and candidate communication.

  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

  • Assist with onboarding documentation where required.

  • Maintain recruitment reports and recruitment activity trackers.

  • Ensure compliance with company recruitment processes and data protection standards.

Candidate Database Management
  • Build and maintain a high-quality talent database.

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other recruitment channels.

  • Conduct database searches for current vacancies.

  • Maintain accurate candidate notes and activity history.

  • Re-engage previous candidates for new opportunities.

Sales & Lead Generation
  • Research and identify potential clients within target industries.

  • Generate qualified business leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.

  • Book meetings for recruitment consultants or management.

  • Conduct cold calling to introduce company recruitment services.

  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound enquiries.

  • Maintain CRM records and update sales activities.

  • Qualify prospective clients based on hiring requirements and business needs.

  • Identify decision-makers within target organisations.

  • Develop relationships with prospective clients to generate future business opportunities.

Business Development Support
  • Assist in preparing proposals and service presentations.

  • Support consultants with client research before meetings.

  • Update client databases and sales reports.

  • Monitor tender and recruitment opportunities where applicable.

  • Assist with marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

  • Coordinate follow-up activities after client meetings.

Administration
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and electronic records.

  • Prepare weekly recruitment and sales reports.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately.

  • Monitor recruitment and sales KPIs.

  • Assist with general office administration when required.

  • Handle incoming enquiries professionally.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and candidate information.

Minimum RequirementsEducation
  • Grade 12 (Matric).

  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience
  • 1–3 years' experience in recruitment administration, recruitment coordination, sales administration, or lead generation.

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or CRM systems is advantageous.

  • Previous experience in recruitment agencies is highly beneficial.

  • Experience with outbound calling and lead generation is preferred.

Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  • CRM software.

  • LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn Sales Navigator (advantageous).
